I often work with students who either want to just learn more about music theory or are wanting some support with their AP Music Theory class in high school. I can work with music theory students either in person or online through face time or skype. Please contact me and we can arrange times.
“Ric is a great teacher. He has extraordinary expertise in music, and his over-qualification allows him to draw illuminating connections that enrich my learning. And unlike many comparable teachers, he makes music theory understandable, approachable, and fun. You will have a great time learning from him, and you’ll have a big edge in your music theory class. 5/5 stars.” -Greer H
"Music theory can feel very complex and conceptual, but sitting with Ric at the piano helped me visualize and understand it so much easier. Working with Ric gave me a solid base for both the AP exam and the music theory classes I've taken in college." Ali M.former student at Menlo School, now studying music at NYU.
